Clowning for Wellbeing Workshop
This taster workshop offers a playful introduction to the world of clowning.

Date Tuesday, 25 November 2025 |
Time 1 - 3pm |
Venue Thatto Heath Library |
Tickets Free - Please reserve your space. |
Through simple games and exercises, you will begin to uncover your inner clown. Clowning is often misunderstood as overly performative, but at its heart it is about coming home to the present moment and connecting with others. Where there is human connection, we can find laughter - and often much more. Exploring clowning can be an unexpected and powerful tool for wellbeing. It helps us build confidence, release control, reflect on ourselves, and even celebrate failure as a source of joy. There's no need to worry about "performing" or asking "what can I do for clowning?". Simply come as you are, bring a curious mind, and discover what clowning can do for you.
"I had a fantastic day at the workshop, it really pushed me out of my comfort zone. So friendly, and warm. You have really lit a fire under my ass. I'm still buzzing!" - Workshop participant
Workshop facilitators will create a safe space to explore, play, and gloriously fail.
