Welcome to The Storybook Project Celebrations - Young Books Event!

Date: Saturday, 8 March, 2025
Time: 11am-12pm for younger children & 1pm - 2pm for older children
Location: Chester Lane Library

Join us for a fun-filled day of storytelling and book-related activities for our young readers. This event celebrates the Arts in Libraries project that began earlier this year. We invited five members of the public to create a storybook for someone special, pairing them with professional illustrators to craft beautiful, lasting storybooks. These storybooks will be cherished keepsakes and will also be placed in St Helens libraries as a lasting memory.

We will hand over the books for the first time and read them aloud in celebration of all the hard work that went into The Storybook Project.

We look forward to seeing you there!

The sessions are divided into two parts, but you are welcome to bring children of any age to either session. Please note that the second session will cover themes more suitable for older children.
