About Us

We are funded by Arts Council England to champion, promote, develop and deliver a diverse and inclusive programme of arts and culture across all seven of St Helens borough's libraries.

However you like to get creative - whether it's by watching exciting performances, getting involved as an artist or community group, visiting a fresh new exhibition with friends, or meeting new people through our workshops - we are here to make sure it's going on in your library.

We believe that St Helens Libraries are the perfect, welcoming environment for art, dance, writing, drama, cabaret, making, conversations, laughter, meeting people, and having great ideas. Guided by our belief in the rich creative spirit of the people of St Helens borough, and that art is good for all of us, we are dedicated to nurturing a unique, creative community environment for every resident.

We will work to strengthen our sense of community, and to use art and crafts, performance and participation, to improve the wellbeing of all of us.

We want to break down the barriers to living creative lives, and offer intimate, open, high-quality experiences right on your doorstep.
