Artists Together is a networking, mentoring, and support group for St Helens artists of all disciplines, no matter what stage they are at.

Arts In Libraries, with our lead artist Claire Weetman, provide a wide variety of events and workshops on different creative subjects. You're welcome to come as often or as little as you like.

Conversations About...

We bring in artists and inspiring people from the creative industry. Together we create a rich space where artists can discuss, share and develop their practice.

Collaborative events...

Run across two days, we provide space and some resources for artists to create work together - and then to share their work and ideas with the public.

Monthly 1-2-1 support chat

Claire Weetman will offer bookable 30-minute sessions for artists in St Helens to sign up to. You can ask for advice about funding and resources for a project, get some feedback on a piece of work, discuss ways to develop your practice, or whatever is relevant for you and your work. These may be online or in-person. Tell us what you need, and we will support you.

Visiting 1-2-1 support 

During the 2023 Reside* programme we had great feedback from artists who met with people from regional arts organisations for feedback on their portfolio and advice on ways to develop their work. We will continue to invite professionals to share their wisdom with us; you can sign up for a personal slot with them.

Seasonal Events

These are opportunities for participants of Artists Together to attend regional arts events, support local-artist public events, buy discounted tickets through our partnership organisations, and also join our relaxed Summer and Autumn social events - as well as our Arty Christmas party.
