Want to write?

Want to sit round a table with a small group of like-minded creative people?

To start with, there's a taster session where we will get to know each other and start putting some words on paper. And then three sessions: 1. Flash fiction. 2, Short stories; 3, Novels. (Probably, but we can shift things to suit our interests.)

There will be time to read and think, and simply make marks with a pen. You can come along if you write already; if you haven't for ages and want to get back into it; or if you never have and are really keen to dive in.

If you want to join us in this new writing space, tell Lydia at Moss Bank Library or register using this link.

PS the sessions will be hosted by Kevin Dyer, Creative Writing Tutor in the Arts in Libraries Team. He's a playwright, poet, novelist and short-story writer. He also bakes bread.

Sessions are:

  • Thursday 8th January
  • Thursday 22nd January
  • Thursday 19th February
  • Thursday 19th March

All of them are 1.30-3.30 in Moss Bank Library.
